Ian Burford's Reactivated is a razor-sharp espionage novel that functions seamlessly on its own. The plot surges into motion when former operative Andrew "Harry" Harrison is recalled to investigate bizarre, hypnotically induced assassinations across Europe. Uncovering Sereleyne—a sinister drug enabling deep psychological manipulation—Burford delivers a relentless hunt from Rome to Los Angeles. With gritty tradecraft and accessible world-building, it stands as a high-octane, gripping read for any action fan.
